Ronald L of Jacksonville-He had a heart attack last Monday and now has pneumonia. We are praying for total healing. – I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies … 2 Sam 22:4.
Julie M, Colin’s mom-She has to have surgery again. We pray for a successful procedure, an effective treatment plan and total healing. – I will not die but live and will proclaim what the LORD has done. Psalm 118:17
Those taking Law enforcement and firefighter’s exams-We pray they pass the written and physical test, have a superior job interview and meet all the qualifications. We also pray for them to be successful at their jobs and careers. – Psalm 90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands.
Those who are incarcerated-We ask God to strengthen them as they carry out their prison sentence and minister to them at their point of need. We ask the Lord to prepare them to do a great work for Him. – Psalm 138:3, “In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.” (NKJV)
Those whose livelihood is being threatened due to lost income-We ask God to give you a content spirit, and the assurance that He will help you and sustain you. We pray for Him to cut a path forward. – Isa 41:10 `Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Chaotic work environments-We pray for God to settle work environments and grant peace where there is unrest. – Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. Proverbs 16:3 Commit your work to the LORD, and then your plans
Those looking for a better job opportunity-We pray for God to open doors to more satisfying jobs that pay well and with good benefits. – When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the LORD will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them. – Isaiah 41:17
