Sister Carolyn G-She is having cataract surgery today. We are praying for a successful surgery and a complete recovery with no complications. – Isaiah 32:3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim.

Rob-We pray he turns away from the vices of the world, comes to his spiritual senses and turn whole heartedly back to God. – (Jeremiah 3:22 NKJV) “Return, you backsliding children, And I will heal your backslidings.” “Indeed we do come to You, For You are the LORD our God.”

Those who are carrying a heavy burden-We ask God to show you how to give it all to Him, for Him to give you peace of mind and a joy-filled spirit. – Psalm 4:8 – In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.

Those who are having a hard time on their job-We ask God to surround you with His peace, bring to mind your self-worth, walk you through each day as you show up, and reassure you that things will work out in your favor. – Psalm 57:1 “Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in you my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge, until the destroying storms pass by.”

Government Employees-We pray for the Lord to provide for those who have been laid off and we ask Him to ease the stress of those who do not know if they will be furloughed. We pray their livelihood is protected. – When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. Isaiah 43:2

United States of America-We pray for the political climate to settle down, for elected leaders to do the right thing, and for God’s people to live peaceful lives. – Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace. Psalm 37:37

Businesses dependent upon Government Contracts-We ask God to allow the restoration of jobs from lost contracts, and for new contracts to be awarded. We also pray for resources to pay workers and debt. – Deuteronomy 2:7 “For the LORD your God has blessed you in all that you have done; He has known your wanderings through this great wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have not lacked a thing.”‘

Everyone on the call this morning-We ask God to bring clarity to your mind and settled-ness to your spirit, as He makes it clear what your assignment is today. – “My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them for they will refresh your soul.” Proverbs 3:21-22a (NLT)
