“Trust Beyond Understanding”
By Dianne Prince
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” —Proverbs 3:5–6 (NKJV)
Letting go is not weakness—it is worship in its purest form. It is the moment when we stop clinging to control and begin trusting the One who holds the universe in His hands. Too often, we grip our worries with clenched fists, convincing ourselves that if we just try harder or think longer, we can fix everything. But peace is not found in human effort—it is found in divine surrender.
Today’s scripture reminds us to trust God with all our heart—not just the parts we understand or feel comfortable releasing. When we lean on our own insight, we walk a crooked path of anxiety and fear. But when we acknowledge God in every situation, He faithfully straightens our way.
Letting go does not mean apathy—it means active faith. It is believing that God’s plans are greater than our preferences and His timing is wiser than our urgency. As you surrender today, know this: you are not losing control, you are placing it in better hands.
