Junior, Anita’s son -We pray for the Lord to touch the heart of the judge today with compassion and understanding, so that Junior’s mental challenges are fully recognized and he is guided toward the proper help, care, and support he needs. – Psalm 115:14 (NIV) 14 May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children.

Anita-We ask the Lord to wrap her in His peace today, steady her heart with strength and courage, and reassure her that God is at work with compassion and mercy on her son’s behalf. – Philippians 4:19 – But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Those controlled by negative spirits-We pray for the spirit of hopelessness, nervousness, rejection, and oppression to be destroyed, for the enemy to release minds, and for people to be made whole so they can be used to the fullest by God.. – Isaiah 59:19 When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Blended families-We pray for spouses to stand united, children to be granted a heart of cooperation and love, and for the family unit to be on one accord. – Rom 15:5 Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus.

Those needing to improve their eating habits and incorporate regular exercise into their daily activities-We pray for divine control of appetites and for motivation to stick to a regular exercise routine. – Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. (Psalm 86:11)

Those having to make a decision about their parents healthcare-We pray for God’s guidance, clear direction on what to do, and for you to be at peace. – Proverbs 2:6, 9 For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path.

Those anxious about a recent health diagnosis-We pray for God to calm your spirit and your mind and give you the assurance He is working out your health to a good end. – So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you;  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

Everyone on the call this morning-We pray you keep your eyes on Jesus, your mind on His Word, and for you to discern the motives of  those around you. – Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed – he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. (Hebrews 12:2 MSG)
