Ms. Bernice, Keena’s Aunt -She was placed in hospice and has stopped eating. She’s 92. She’s lived a long life. We lift her for comfort and peace. Also, we pray for her daughters, grand children as well as her sister that they may continue trusting God and hold on to each other during these trying times. – Psalm 119:114 assures us, “You [God] are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.”
The family of Deloris Ginyard of Bowie, MD-We lift the family, friends, and church members for comfort and unity as they make homegoing arrangements. – Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. (NLT)
Joe M. -He is out of the hospital and at home recovering from recent heart surgery. We ask God to continue to strengthen him spiritually and physically and for complete healing. – Psalm 34:10 those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
Ann and Triston -We pray for the Lord to grant them healing, deliverance and peace. – Colossians 2:9-10 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
Quinton Higgs -He is having brain surgery today. We pray for all to be well and for him to be completely healed. We also pray for the entire Pitts and Higgs family to be encouraged and upheld by Almighty God. – Psalm 30:2 O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.
Those addicted to drugs-We plead with God to strengthen their will to resist drug use, for their minds to be reprogrammed, and for their spirits to be quickened and protected from the enemy and his tricks. – 1 Corin 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
Divided Families and Homes-We ask God to show family members how to put aside differences and find common ground and to lay aside divisions and move forward in love and unity. – Psalms 18:6 In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.
Everyone on the call-We ask the Lord to pour His Spirit upon you and your loved ones and use you to uplift His kingdom. – Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the nations, and I will sing praises to Your name (2 Samuel 22:50).
