Earthquake Victims-We pray for those affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela, California and Japan to be surrounded with the mercy of God. We ask the Lord to comfort the grieving, protect the vulnerable, strengthen rescue workers, let the peace of God be felt in every hurting heart. – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.”— Psalm 46:1–2 (KJV)
Senior Adults-We pray God will grant them peace from their concerns, companionship if they are lonely, and provide anything they lack. – Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield.
Our sick ad shut in-We pray for the Lord to heal Steve A, who was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC., Deacon Nehemiah B, Jr. who was admitted to Care One at Somerset Valley, Bound Brook, NJ, Brother Mahlon B who was admitted to Care One in Livingston, NJ, Juanita C who is recovering in a rehab facility, and all those who are sick among us. – Phil 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Those with a spouse who is not emotionally present-We pray God gives couples renewed hope and a patient spirit toward each other as marriages are repaired by the mighty hand of God. – Proverbs 3:6 – In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
The young man who has lost interest in moving forward-We pray for God to kick in a fresh burst of energy, ignite his spirit and him a renewed desire to move forward. – Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Those who feel they have been defeated-We pray God will show you how to trust Him with what He has allowed to come your way, and we ask Him to exalt you at the proper time. – 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Everyone on the call-We ask God to relieve you of any burdens you are carrying. We ask Him to shower you with His discernment and blessings. – Jeremiah 29:12, “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” (NIV)
