“Victory in Your Struggle”
By Dianne Prince
“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” — Genesis 3:15 (NKJV)
When Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree, God declared that a perpetual struggle would exist between humanity and the devil—a continuous battle between good and evil.
Be mindful today that while struggles are certain, the devil’s power is limited. He cannot touch you beyond what Jesus permits. Instead, he magnifies your problems, making them appear bigger than they are. He twists circumstances to seem impossible, all with the intent of discouraging you and hindering others from seeing Christ in you. His aim is to push you toward anger, harsh words, and reactions that dishonor God.
Yet in this verse, God reminds us that though the devil may bruise our heel, he will never destroy us. Every stumble may slow us down, but God promises to uphold us. He will not let us fall beyond His reach.
So when the enemy places hardships in your path, choose your battles wisely. When he nips at your heel, stand firm and unshaken. When he whispers that situations will never work out, remember that God has the final word. He is greater than every problem, and He is only a prayer away. He anchors your steps and steadies you until the storm passes.
You may not win every battle, but with God on your side, you will always win the war.
