Clara G if Pennsylvania, Senior Adult-We pray for her latter days to be greater than her beginnings. – Psalms 37:7 – Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Our offspring and extended family members-We pray God pours out His spirit upon our children, our children’s children, those special to us and upon all the generations to come. We thank God in advance for preserving our family heritage as a God-fearing people. – I shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; for I am blessed of the Lord, and my offspring with me. (Isaiah 65:23)
Those needing a spiritual jolt to get started today-We ask the Lord to instill renewed hope in hearts and put a song of praise on minds. – Why are you downcast, O my soul, why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God; for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. (Psalm 42)
Those having to make a critical decision-We urge God to speak clearly with specific guidance and for you to heed His direction. – Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
Those blind-sided by an unexpected development-We pray for God’s presence to keep you at peace, for Him to lead you in the way you are to go and give you a day of fellowship with those who will encourage you. – 2 Thess. 2:16-17 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.
Those experiencing a lapse in memory-We pray God gives them a sharp sense of understanding, a retentive memory, and the ability to grasp things correctly and fundamentally. – I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps (Psalm 40:1-2, NKJV).
Those with sickle cell anemia-We ask the Lord to shield them from symptoms flaring up and make them well. – I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done. Psalm 118:17
