“Worth the Wait”
By Dianne Prince
“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him” (Isaiah 64:4, NKJV)
Waiting on God is one of the hardest lessons we will ever learn as believers. When prayers go unanswered or doors remain closed, it is easy to wonder if God will move in our situation. Yet today’s scripture reminds us of this life-changing truth: God acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.
In your season of delay, hold on to these encouraging truths:
First, God is with you in the wait. You are never alone in the silence. His presence remains constant, even when His answers seem delayed.
Second, God hears every prayer. Even when heaven feels quiet, your cries reach His heart.
Third, God is faithful to His promises. What He has spoken, He will surely bring to pass—in His perfect time.
Finally, God is preparing something greater than you imagined. What no eye has seen or ear heard is exactly what He’s working on behind the scenes.
So do not lose heart. Keep trusting. It will be worth the wait because God is moving in ways you cannot yet see.
