“Yes You Can”

By Dianne Prince

“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13, NIV)

Doubt is one of our most powerful enemies. Why? Because doubt quietly creeps into our lives and shifts us from a mindset of faith to a mindset of fear. It causes us to hesitate when we should move forward in faith, and it convinces us that things will not turn out well.

In today’s scripture, Paul urges us to live by faith, to hold on to hope, and to depend fully on God. He reminds us that there is always hope as long as we are in God’s hands. There is always a brighter day, because God still reigns on His throne in glory.

Without God, we can do nothing. We could not take a single step, prepare a meal, or even help those around us. Every ability we take for granted flows from Him.

But with God, we can do anything. With Him, there is always another chapter. There is always a way forward. What seems impossible becomes possible. What seems unbearable becomes endurable. What looks like defeat becomes the pathway to victory.

Here is your reminder for today: trust in God moves Him to act on your behalf. Dependence on Him gains His attention. Total reliance on Him shakes the very foundations of heaven and causes God to shift circumstances in your favor.

You can do all things because God empowers you. He enables your body to move, your mind to create, and your spirit to stand strong. He walks with you through every trial, even the ones that feel overwhelming.

So today, if your circumstances whisper “You cannot,” Jesus declares, “Yes you can.” Make it your declaration: “I can do all things. In spite of the odds, with Christ on my side, I can accomplish what seems impossible.”
