“Your Best Is Yet to Come”

By Dianne Prince

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day… So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”(2 Corinthians 4:16, 18, NKJV)

If you look around long enough, you will find a reason to lose hope. The headlines are troubling. Prices keep rising. Sickness still comes. Families struggle. Hearts grow weary. Everything around us seems to whisper, “It is getting worse.”

But God says, “Do not lose heart.”

Do not allow what you see to rob you of what God has promised you. Your eyes will deceive you. Your feelings will discourage you. Your thoughts will sometimes betray you. But the Word of God never changes.

What you see is temporary. Trouble is temporary. Pain is temporary. Delay is temporary. Even the longest night must surrender to the morning.

So keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep walking by faith and not by sight. God is still working behind the scenes. While you are waiting, He is preparing. While you are believing, He is renewing. While you are enduring, He is positioning you for what is next.

Remember this today: Your present situation is not your final destination. Stay faithful, stand firm, and keep your eyes on Christ, because your best is not behind you. By the grace of God, your best is yet to come.
