More Than Enough in God’s Hands

By Dianne Prince

“Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.” — Luke 9:16 (NKJV)

There are moments in life when what we hold in our hands appears painfully insufficient. Whether it is time, strength, faith, or resources, we often measure what we have and conclude that it is not enough for the challenge before us. Yet, Scripture reminds us that God does not need abundance to bring about abundance. He simply asks us to place what we have in His hands.

The disciples saw only scarcity when they faced the hungry crowd. But Jesus saw opportunity. When they surrendered the little they had, He multiplied it beyond imagination. Likewise, God specializes in doing much with little. He turns weakness into strength, lack into plenty, and impossibility into testimony.

Perhaps you feel as though your supply—emotional, physical, or spiritual—is running low. Remember, God’s power is not limited by your shortage. He can use even the smallest offering, a single act of faith, a whispered prayer, or a willing heart, to bring forth a miracle.

Bring your “not enough” to the One who is always more than enough. When you entrust what seems small to Him, He breathes His power upon it and makes it overflow. What matters is not the size of your supply, but the strength of your surrender.

In God’s hands, little becomes limitless.
