“Walk in Quiet Trust”
By Dianne Prince
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Life often feels like a constant rush —decisions to make, responsibilities to carry, and worries that refuse to quiet down. In the middle of all the noise, God gently tells us to be still. Not just physical rest, but a deep, inner calm rooted in giving everything to God.
Being still doesn’t mean doing nothing. It means releasing control. It means choosing to believe that God is at work even when we do not see immediate results. Trust grows when we surrender our timelines, our fears, and our need to understand everything.
Sometimes, God allows seasons where answers seem simply are not available. In those moments, stillness becomes an act of faith. It says to God. ‘Lord, God, I trust You even here.” It is in this quiet trust that our hearts are strengthened, our spirits are lifted and our perspective begins to shift.
Today, take a moment to pause. Step away from the noise and simply sit with God. You do not need perfect words—because God hears your heart. Let His presence remind you that you are not alone, and that He is faithfully guiding your path.
Stillness is not weakness. It is confidence in God’s ability to run your life. And in that stillness, you find peace that the world cannot give.
