Always Present

“I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you” (John 14:18, NKJV).
Loneliness can feel like a dark shadow that clings to us—especially in seasons of loss, confusion, or silence. But Jesus made a promise: “I will not leave you orphans.” He was speaking of the Holy Spirit—our divine Companion, who enters the very places where others cannot go.
When our heart aches and no one seems to understand, the Holy Spirit does. He is our Comforter, surrounding us with peace when life feels like it is unraveling. He is not far off. He is near—whispering truth to our soul when anxiety threatens to drown out our hope. In our weakness, He becomes our strength.
But He is more than a Comforter—He is our Advocate. When we cannot find the words to pray, He speaks on our behalf. When we are too weary to fight, He stands beside us and lifts us up. His presence is quiet but unwavering, gentle but powerful.
Your reminder for today is this: You may not always feel Him—but feelings are not the measure of truth. The truth is: He is here. Guiding. Empowering. Holding you steady in the unseen battles.
So if today feels heavy, if the silence seems loud, remember this—
You are not forgotten. You are not forsaken. You are never, ever alone.
God’s Holy Spirit has come to you. And He will never leave.
